Note meIīve been away for a week and now I am finally back.
I passed my exams!
So, now I have medic level 1 and 2. I also have become instructor on medic level 1. Also, I have papers that confirms that I can become an official medic in any part of the Armed Forces. In other words, I have done 3 courses in one week.
The days looked like this.
Get up at 0600, eat breakfast at 0700. Classes were held from 0800, at 1130 there was lunch. Cases, practical classes, theory and war was taught from 1230 to 1630. At 1630 to 1700 there was dinner. From 1800 and out we were free to do what we wanted but we had to sit and work on the next days lesions.
The room next to mine had a baby that was 12 weeks old. She cried every night from 2000 to 0400.
Did I get any sleep? Hardly!
We all wear green.
I love green. It is my favorite color.
Not too bright, not too dark. Not too warm, not too cold. Balanced. Perfect.
My beret color is a pale purple.
It was funny to overhear other peoples conversations about this. Because what I overheard was often like this: "Look at the purple beret!" "Isnīt that the Special Forces?" "Holy shit! Youīre right!"
Of course I had to turn my back and smirk to myself.
Well, with no visible name tag, distinctions or marks to tell anyone anything about who I might be there is no wonder people have to start whispering. I have my distinctions on another uniform. The one I wore this week was brand new, I picked it up at the depot two weeks ago because apparently I needed another model.
When I came home I had a package waiting for me.
I got this package from a special someone through the mail. Iīve been looking forward to it all week. I was so surprised when I opened it...wow! Iīll be drinking a lot of tea and coffee in class from now on, haha.
And the necklace... I doubt Iīll be taking it off anytime soon! Thank you so much dear! It really is perfect-! I miss you so much... Why canīt December just come already?
Next Friday I will attend another course. A weekend course. So Iīll be going back to the barracks once again. Sadly, Iīll be missing my brotherīs birthday party because of this... I hope he forgives me!
I missed out at the Karpe Diem concert the 9th of March because of my course. But I gave my ticket to my brother and so he took a girl with him! Wow. That impressed me, really! A smooth move, haha. Hopefully they will keep in touch, because according to him she is a bit shy but very sweet.
Floors are being put down and a kitchen has been found. Itīs an old kitchen but we will spice it up with new doors, a new stove, fridge and perhaps a more robust counter. A lot of work, but we got it all for free. We shall see how it looks once we get it and everything is up.
Iīve grown a lot this week. Even though I missed my dog and a special someone.
A comment about me that I got from a medical student this week:
"You are so clever and hugely committed, I am impressed when I listen to you."
A comment about me that I got from one of my teachers this week:
"You are so mature and reflected already at such a young age."
